Area guide: Balham - London

Check out office space to rent in Balham

Balham is often overlooked as a location for offices, partly because there are better-known areas such as Clapham nearby, and partly because it is such a popular and attractive place to live. But over recent years this vibrant area has become more lively and more enticing to different types of occupiers, and for offices.

The area’s excellent transport links – by tube, bus and nearby London Overground stations – makes it very convenient for central London but at a fraction of the price. There is an abundance of retail and dining, something Balham is especially well-known for, and plenty of cafes and meeting places nearby. As a sign that the area is definitely up-and-coming, Balham now hosts its own annual literary festival, to compliment a well-established comedy festival held every year at renowned club the Banana Cabaret.
