Located in West Yorkshire, close to Leeds, Halifax and Huddersfield, Bradford is a well-connected city. It also boasts a direct train service to Manchester, which will take you to the city centre in just over an hour. Leeds Bradford Airport is just half an hour’s drive from the centre, and from here you can take flights to destinations across Europe including major cities in France, Italy, Poland, Greece, Spain, Turkey and more.

You’ll also be on the doorstep of some beautiful countryside in Bradford, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park just 10 miles away and the Peak District National Park within a 20-mile journey.

Train

There are two main train stations in the city: Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square. Both are served by Northern and host services to local towns as well as major cities, including London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and Peterborough. Situated in the centre, they are within easy walking destination of addresses across the city.

As the main bus operator in Bradford, First Bus runs a huge number of services across Bradford and surrounding towns and villages. For example, there are services to Halifax, Keighley, Howarth and Saltaire. Tickets start at just £1.30.
